I would like to revisit a debate that occured approx 10 months ago.

Please focus your attention on the meal in the middle :: see, it's written in print, it's spag BOG not spag BOL!

I rest my case.

I've been having that argument with Dan since we met!! He thinks "bog" is too undignified! I am glad you've found the proof - perhaps your brother might accept it now :)

proof smoof, taht just someone, who thinks likeminded to you putting it on their menu thingo, how does that define its the term, im sure i could concoct the same smeu for lawsons pizza house and call it spag BOL, then i would obviously be right!

see anyoen can claim anything if they put it into print for example

Spaghetti Bolognaise
[phil is balck spaghetti]

obviously that means that is what its called

nice work

Spag bog? I have never heard of spag bog before!! It sounds like some sort of filthy ditch!

Is this some kind of silly South Australian nuance of language?

Are you sure it wasn't a typo on the menu? I'm with Dan on this one. Who wants to eat something called bog?

haha, glad to see healthy debate on such a prevalent issue in today's society

admit it, spag bog is just more fun to say ;)

spag bol
noun spaghetti bolognaise. Also, spag bog.

a menu is no proof - and australian slang dictionary is though! Notice the "also spag bog" so you can say it but it's like a made up, second fiddle version of spag bol.

basically its slang for slang. so if using slang is lazy - then using slang slang is even lazier.
